KUNITORI vol.5 — 伍ノ陣
Take the land.
KUNITORI is Japan's prefectural crew battle. Here, beatboxers don't just fight for themselves — they fight carrying the name of the place they come from.
Eight crews. Eight territories. One realm.
On Saturday, November 7, 2026, KUNITORI raises its banners for the fifth time at WOMB in Shibuya. Twelve teams entered the wildcard round; eight survived to claim their place on the map:
ものごっズ (Osaka) / HIGEHIRO (Hokkaido) / Phantasia (Tokyo) / i-RiCo (Tokyo) / 止水 (Shiga) / VoxerPants (Gunma) / No.3 (Fukuoka) / Howks (Hokkaido)
An age of warring factions — and by nightfall, one crew will unify the realm.

■ RULES
FORMAT
Eight prefectural crews of 3 to 5 members compete in a tournament.
Each match consists of three 1vs1 solo battles (Senpo / Chuken / Taisho)
and one crew battle — four battles in total. Points are awarded for each
battle won, and the match is decided by the total score.
SOLO BATTLES
1 minute per side, 2 turns.
Players are chosen by the Counter-Snipe System, which lets a crew pick its
player after seeing the opponent's. For the Senpo bout, the crews' reps play
rock-paper-scissors and the loser names their player first. For the Chuken
and Taisho bouts, the crew that won the previous battle names first, and the
crew that lost gains the counter right.
Each member may compete in only one solo battle per match.
CREW BATTLE
2 minutes per side, 1 turn (3 minutes per side in the Final).
All members take part. The order is decided by rock-paper-scissors.
SCORING
Solo win = 1 pt each. Crew battle = up to 4 pts, with each of the four judges
allocating 1 pt. The first crew to take 4 or more of the 7 available points
wins the match.
Solo battles are judged immediately. If the judges split 2-2, a 1-minute
overtime round is held with the order reversed. Overtime is held only once;
if the judges split again, the audience decides on the spot.
