You’ve all seen it, that one bloke on TV going “boots and cats” as a one-off or the street busker wowing passers-by. But it's time for beatboxing to grab the spotlight by the mic and put on a real show. Experience the full extent of the human voice at this one-of-a-kind gig; one mouth, one microphone shaking up the room with a blend of house, hip-hop, DnB, and more.
As a niche medium for music, beatboxing almost solely exists in a competitive scene. While this can be invigorating and exciting, the nature of competition means that artists who compete are almost never getting paid to perform. That’s why we started Mouthbox, a beatbox gig where all of the artists get paid. With several decades of mouth-noises between us, we’re putting on a show like no other.
